Banish Refrigerator Science Projects

I love leftovers! Cold pizza? Awesome for breakfast. Mashed potatoes? Awesome for breakfast! Risotto? Awesome for breakfast! (You seeing a pattern here?)
I grew up on leftovers and to this day, I eat them all the time. But I admit that as organized as I am, sometimes I don't write the date on the container with a Sharpie. So then I'm stuck wondering if something is safe to eat or if I'm about to discover just how bad Botulism really is.
Enter the Days Ago digital day counter. This little baby is a clever device that keeps track of the passage of time with the click of a button. It attaches magnetically or by suction cup to the jar, box or whatever container your leftovers are in, and it counts the days until you reset the clock. Pretty cool huh?
Last week I received a sample package in the mail and I've been using them ever since. They're really handy for other things too like remembering when you changed the water filter in your Brita, the water in your goldfish bowl or cleaned the fridge. You can find these here, for ten bucks a pack, and if you can't imagine how you'd use them, here are some good ideas!
