A neat idea is to donate your lovingly read books to your public library's bookstore… most local libraries have a support organization "Friend of the Library" who often have a shop of some kind where books are sold … sometimes duplicates from the library stacks; sometimes books donated… its a great way to share and to enable your library to have some "extra' funds to buy MORE books for people to borrow!

That's a great idea. I know I held on to books from 10 years ago that I probably won't read again for a while, but kept them because they were such good stories that I read. However, I was in the school's reading program for many years and holding onto those books just took up too much space. I will donate my books to either our local Contra Costa College library or our city's library. Thanks for the advice, now I'll have room for other books to enjoy in the meantime before I donate them too!
