i like this idea, because it's cheaper than regular p-touch labels…but…i HATE my handwriting, so i will keep wasting money

Also, masking tape and Sharpie markers are the only combination that works for super cold freezers. I worked at Maggie Moo's and that's what they use to label the ice cream flavors.

Never thought of labeling my shelves in the fridge or pantry. Maybe THIS will finally teach the kids where the butter goes LOL

And if you have a particularly delicate surface to label, try painter's masking tape. It's designed not to leave marks or lift off paint from walls.

I too use it to label some cords and to prevent sticky residue on the cord, I will paste a smaller piece of tape somewhere over the middle part on the sticky side of the labeling tape, so as to minimize contact between the adhesive and cord.
