Zip ties are amazing! I use them for cord control, and a multitude of other little fixes all over my house.
I thought I was particularly clever last weekend when I fixed a broken toilet chain with my own little chain of zip ties and a binder clip to connect it to the rubber stopper in the bottom of the toilet tank.
